Stay In The Know:

Borderline Rage.

Our rage may be sparked by relatively insignificant events and appear without warning.

It may be directed at valued/previously valued people.

The threat of violence frequently accompanies this anger.

Some of us even welcome violence against ourselves.

We are attracted to people who physically overpower us because of our violent past-

times that we were hurt by our parents,

significant other,

or strangers.

We are so afraid of bad things happening to us like violence or rejection that we incite it in order to 'get it over with-

we provoke our loved ones so that their rejection doesn't drag on.

We as Borderlines are often reared in situations in which threats and dramatic actions are the only ways to achieve what is wanted.

Just as the borderline perceives acceptance as conditional,

So rejection can also be seen this way.

We feel that if only we are attractive enough,

Smart enough,

Rich enough or demanding enough we will ultimately get what we want.
